Product Introduction
The KNM1 series molded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) features a rated insulation voltage of 690V. It is suitable for use in power distribution networks with an AC frequency of 50Hz, a rated operational voltage of up to 690V (400V for the KNM1-63 model), and a rated operational current of up to 1250A. As a 3P/4P AC Molded Case Circuit Breaker, it serves to distribute electrical energy and protect circuits and power supply equipment against faults such as overload, short-circuit, and undervoltage. Under normal operating conditions, this 3P/4P AC Molded Case Circuit Breaker can be used for infrequent circuit switching and infrequent motor starting, as well as for providing overload, short-circuit, and undervoltage protection for motors.
This circuit breaker (with the exception of 4-pole Type A and Type D models) offers an isolation function, a feature that makes this 3P/4P AC Molded Case Circuit Breaker particularly versatile for various installation requirements. This product series complies with the IEC 60947-2 standard, ensuring that every 3P/4P AC Molded Case Circuit Breaker in the lineup meets international performance and safety criteria.
Structural Features
The circuit breakers feature compact dimensions, high breaking capacity, and short arcing distances. They are available in three wiring configurations: front-panel wiring, rear-panel wiring, and plug-in wiring.
The overcurrent release units for this series come in two types: instantaneous releases and dual-function releases (comprising a long-delay overload release and an instantaneous release). Accessories such as shunt releases, undervoltage releases, auxiliary contacts, and alarm contacts can also be installed.
